Why position-room age matters more than raw offer counts

Offer lists show recruiting activity. Class cycles, retention, usage, and departures provide the roster context behind that activity.

Offer volume is incomplete

A long offer list does not show how many players a staff expects to sign at one position. Offers may be conditional, spread across different evaluations, or change as the roster changes.

Use offer data as an activity signal, not as a direct count of available places.

Add the room cycle

Group the current room by broad class cycle, then add transfers, recent signees, departures, and actual participation. That view gives the offer activity a more useful frame.

The result is still an estimate of context—not proof that a roster opening exists.
